TUALANG, SIAK – In an effort to protect the younger generation from negative influences and legal violations, the Legal Section of the Siak Regency Secretariat (Setda) in collaboration with the Siak Police Department held a Legal Counseling Socialization event at Yamatu Tualang Vocational School, Tualang District, Siak Regency, on Tuesday (March 3, 2026). This activity aims to increase legal awareness and create order and discipline among students as part of the school community. Preventive Education for Students In their presentation, representatives from the Legal Section of the Siak Regency Secretariat emphasized the importance of understanding regulations from an early age so that students understand their rights and obligations as citizens. The material presented covered legal aspects related to juvenile delinquency, school disciplinary regulations, and the prevention of violence in educational environments. Meanwhile, a team from the Siak Police Department provided special education on the Protection of Women and Children, the dangers of drug abuse, bullying, and traffic compliance. "Students are a national asset. Through this outreach, we want to ensure they stay away from crime and maintain a conducive environment in their schools and homes," said a representative from the Siak Police Department during the outreach session. Appreciation from the School The Principal of Yamatu Tualang Vocational School, Mr. Rustami, S.Sos., M.Pd., welcomed the collaborative initiative between the Regional Government and the Siak Police Department. He stated that the direct presence of the Siak Regional Secretariat's Legal Division and the Siak Police Department at the school has had a positive psychological impact on students' adherence to regulations. "We are very grateful for the visit by the Siak Regional Secretariat's Legal Division and the Siak Police Department. The material presented is highly relevant to the challenges facing today's youth, particularly regarding social media ethics and road safety," he said. The activity concluded with an interactive discussion session where students were given the opportunity to ask questions directly about legal issues frequently encountered in everyday life. Through this activity, it is hoped that Yamatu Tualang Vocational School will continue to produce graduates who not only excel in their skills but also possess law-abiding and disciplined characters.
