Dayun -- The 2026 Siak Regency-wide Hadroh Sholawat Festival, commemorating the Isra' Mi'raj of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in 1447 Hijri, was officially opened by Siak Deputy Regent Syamsurizal at PTPN IV Regional III Plantation/Middle Earth Palm Oil Mill and Artificial Sei Plasma Plantation in Sawit Permai Village, Dayun District, Siak Regency, on Thursday (February 5, 2026).

Themed "PTPN People Grounding Sholawat, Reaching Intercession to Achieve the Love of the Prophet Muhammad and Strengthening Brotherhood," the Hadroh Sholawat Festival was held by the Majelis Ta'lim (Islamic Study Group) of PTPN IV Regional III Plantation/Middle Earth Palm Oil Mill and Artificial Sei Plasma Plantation. It ran for two days, from February 5 to 6, 2026.

In his remarks, Siak Deputy Regent Syamsurizal emphasized the importance of collaboration between the regional government and the business sector in promoting community welfare and sustainable regional development.

"The Siak Regency Government continues to encourage strong collaboration with corporations operating in the Regency, including in supporting programs to improve community welfare," said Syamsurizal.

He also invited all elements of society to play an active role in regional development, given that Siak Regency has a long history as a former Sultanate whose dignity and identity must be maintained.

"The role of the younger generation is crucial as agents of development. Support from the community, companies, and the government must go hand in hand, including by paying attention to settlements and the surrounding environment to ensure balanced development," he emphasized.

The Deputy Regent of Siak hopes that the 3rd Siak Regency-wide Hadroh Sholawat Festival will not only serve as a forum for fostering friendship and showcasing religious arts skills, but also strengthen the values ​​of togetherness, Islam, and social responsibility in supporting the progress of Siak Regency.

Andri ST, MM, a representative of PTPN IV Regional III, stated in his remarks that the festival was attended by 35 hadroh groups from various sub-districts in Siak Regency.

He emphasized that this activity aims to strengthen the spread of Islam through Islamic arts and culture, while also fostering a spirit of togetherness and brotherhood within the community.

He stated that this Hadroh Festival is not just a competition, but a means of spreading Islam and nurturing the younger generation's love for the art of Hadroh and Islamic values.
